Thinking About clothes my mother made all my clothes, dresses and skirts of course. Even my school uniforms
she also made all my sweaters, she was an amazing Knitter and if I like one design in a sweater lo and behold she would make me six of them in different colours and we wore thick lisle stockings - horrible things that I had to darn when I made holes in the knees!
 We never wore pants, never wore jeans, I can’t remember when I had my first pair of shorts I think I must’ve been about 16
